Chad attended school in Nashua, Fort Peck, and Glasgow; ending back in Nashua for his high school years.
He left school before graduating to move to Idaho to stay with his father.
He is survived by his four children: Gordon “Gordy” (Val) Du Beau of Gillette, Wyoming, Roxanna “Roxy” (Willie) Williams of Gillette, Wyoming, Kimberly “Kim” (Doug) Cook of Park Grove, Montana, and Robin (Reed) Sutton of Billings, Montana; his grandchildren, Joshua (Stayce) Williams, Beau (Kate) Williams and Kaytlyn Williams of Gillette, Wyoming, David (Jodi) Tracy of California, Jory (Cortney) Cook of Park Grove, Montana, Shandy (Fuzz) Stingley of Nashua, Montana, Ali Cook (Jaime Riseden) of Great Falls, Montana, Ty and Jax Sutton of Billings, Montana; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Dick) Olson; brother, Punk Du Beau and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow, Montana. Byron Mathias Lindsay of Saint Marie, MT died Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Byron worked on the family farm for 3 years before joining the Air Force on April 30, 1950. While in the military, Byron resided with his family in England, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Illinois, Alaska, Mississippi, and New York.
In 1990, Byron and Elinor retired to Saint Marie, MT- where he became an active part of the community.
On December 19, 1957 he married the love of his life, Frances “Fritzie” Bondy.
He started working for Eagle Western in 1959 on the second power house in Fort Peck.
